Our client in the Construction Industry is seeking a Professional Quantity Surveyor to join their Quantity Surveying Department in Centurion

Duties & Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements
  • BTech or BSc Degree in Quantity Surveying
  • Professional Registration (Pr.QS)
  • Minimum 4–5 years’ experience (up to 6–10 years’ experience will be advantageous)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Technical Skills
  • WINQS
  • DIMX
  • MS Word
  • MS Excel (strong proficiency required)
Key Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate design documentation
  • Prepare preliminary and detailed cost estimates
  • Compile Bills of Quantities and contract documentation
  • Conduct financial evaluation of tenders
  • Administer cash flow forecasts, cost reports, valuations, variation orders, and contractual claims
  • Prepare and negotiate final accounts
  • Attend project and client meetings
  • Formulate, review, and analyse repair estimates
  • Prepare viability studies, damage costings, and determine value at risk
  • Liaise and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, and Quantity Surveyors
