Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all quantity surveying functions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, bills of quantities and tender documentation.
• Manage project costing, financial reporting, cash flow projections and cost control.
• Evaluate tenders, review contractor quotations and assist with procurement.
• Monitor project expenditure and identify potential cost risks and variances.
• Assess progress claims, variations and final accounts.
• Provide professional quantity surveying advice to clients and project stakeholders.
• Liaise with engineers, contractors, consultants and other project team members.
• Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and verify work completed.
• Undertake project assignments throughout South Africa and other African countries as required.
