We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with an Architectural Engineering background and over 7 years of proven expertise in cost management, estimation, and contract administration. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical and financial skills to deliver cost-efficient solutions while maintaining design quality and project standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review detailed cost estimates, BOQs, tender documents, and contract agreements.
Lead feasibility studies, value engineering, and cost control measures across all project phases.
Evaluate architectural and engineering drawings for accuracy, scope, and cost implications.
Manage procurement, tendering, and contractor negotiations.
Monitor project budgets, variations, and prepare regular cost and financial reports.
Conduct site inspections to verify progress, validate claims, and prepare interim/final valuations.
Support dispute resolution, claims assessment, and final account settlements.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and international best practices.
Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to align design and cost efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelorβs degree in Quantity Surveying, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in cost estimation, quantity surveying, and contract management.
Professional accreditation (RICS, MRICS, or equivalent) preferred.
Strong knowledge of architectural design, construction techniques, and material specifications.
Proficiency in cost management tools (e.g., Candy, CostX, Primavera, AutoCAD, Revit).
Strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Experience in large-scale projects (commercial, residential, or mixed-use).
GCC/Middle East project exposure is an advantage.
