We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with an Architectural Engineering background and over 7 years of proven expertise in cost management, estimation, and contract administration. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical and financial skills to deliver cost-efficient solutions while maintaining design quality and project standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review detailed cost estimates, BOQs, tender documents, and contract agreements.

  • Lead feasibility studies, value engineering, and cost control measures across all project phases.

  • Evaluate architectural and engineering drawings for accuracy, scope, and cost implications.

  • Manage procurement, tendering, and contractor negotiations.

  • Monitor project budgets, variations, and prepare regular cost and financial reports.

  • Conduct site inspections to verify progress, validate claims, and prepare interim/final valuations.

  • Support dispute resolution, claims assessment, and final account settlements.

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and international best practices.

  • Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to align design and cost efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in cost estimation, quantity surveying, and contract management.

  • Professional accreditation (RICS, MRICS, or equivalent) preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of architectural design, construction techniques, and material specifications.

  • Proficiency in cost management tools (e.g., Candy, CostX, Primavera, AutoCAD, Revit).

  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills.

  • Experience in large-scale projects (commercial, residential, or mixed-use).

  • GCC/Middle East project exposure is an advantage.
