Introduction

Well-established Structural Steelwork company seeking an energetic Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates based on structural and construction drawings and specifications
  • Monitor project budgets and control expenditure
  • Conduct cost reconciliations
  • Prepare and submit payment claims and variation orders
  • Evaluate subcontractor claims
  • Verify work aligns with contractual and technical standards
  • Assist with the compilation and management of Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
  • Measure, capture, and track on-site quantities for progress claims and valuations.

Desired Experience & Qualification

 

  • Education: Completed Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar field
  • Experience: Min. 2 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor or similar position
  • Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential
  • Logistics: Valid driver’s licence
  • Competencies: Strong numerical accuracy, high integrity, excellent work ethic and clear communication skills
