As a leader in high-end construction, heritage conservation and specialist crafts in London and the South of England, we take pride in working on Britain's finest private residences, luxury hotels and most cherished historic architecture. We believe our people are our greatest asset, as it's their dedication to excellence that has been the foundation for our outstanding reputation.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll apply your expertise to exciting projects involving listed buildings and luxury homes, working alongside a dedicated team committed to quality and precision. This role offers the chance to make a real impact on unique high-end projects.

All the responsibilities we’ll trust you with

  • You'll enjoy building strong working relationships with Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Clients, and Subcontractors.
  • You'll take ownership of preparing valuations and final accounts, helping keep projects on track financially.
  • You'll play a key role in monitoring project performance by producing monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and final account projections.
  • You'll bring fresh ideas to the table by reviewing and improving how we work.
  • You'll keep things running smoothly by ensuring all variations are agreed promptly, both with clients and subcontractors.
  • You'll look after subcontractor packages from start to finish, including re-measuring works, reviewing payment applications, and issuing accurate payment notices on time.

Where you’ll be based

You'll join our London Region, where we’ve built basements, refurbished iconic homes and added ultra-high finishes to a long list of homes. Working in London's dynamic and demanding environment calls for expert management and exceptional skills to deliver projects of the highest quality.

When you're not on site, you'll work from our modern, boutique-style London office in Westminster - just a one-minute walk from St James’s Park Underground Station. The office offers secure bicycle storage, breakout areas, and an on-site gym, creating a comfortable and inspiring place to work.

  • Join an inclusive community where everyone is valued, respected, and empowered to share their ideas and bring them to life
  • Enjoy a rewards package that includes a competitive salary, company pension, sick pay, life cover, maternity/paternity pay and recognition through long service awards

  • Round-the-clock support with our Employee Assistance Programme offering expert legal advice, counselling and more to help you through any situation
  • Enjoy a restful holiday break - we close during the Christmas period, giving you the chance to relax over the festive season
  • We prioritise your wellbeing with our healthcare programmes, annual flu vaccines, and for those who will benefit, a personalised menopause plan.

The areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

  • You'll have a solid grasp of traditional building methods and materials, especially in the context of listed buildings and high-end period property refurbishments.
  • You’ll thrive in keeping control of complex projects with plenty of moving parts, confidently managing variations, pricing them accurately, and making sure everything is documented with CVIs and AIs in place.
  • You'll have solid experience in private residential construction and a clear understanding of the quality and detail expected in high-end bespoke projects.
  • You’ll be comfortable with the tools of the trade, using Excel and the rest of Microsoft Office with confidence to keep everything on track.
  • You’ll have a sharp head for numbers, a steady hand on the finances, and the know-how (or quick learning ability) to get the best out of construction management software and digital tools.
