Salary: Commensurate with qualification and experience + accommodation on a single status arrangement (shared bathroom and communal areas), subsistence allowance whilst staying away from home, travel arrangements for 1 x trip home per month

Qualifications / Requirements:
- Active and valid registration with the SACPCMP council
- Experience from a contractor environment (NOT consulting or civils)
- Tertiary Degree/Diploma
- Professional registration: SA Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession and/or ASAQS/MBA
- 5 years + technical experience
- Prepared to travel to and from site and endure heavy work-load and long hours
- Computer literate
- Managing performance, mentoring skills, team morale and effectiveness
- Advise on legalities and common law requirements
- Capital expenditure
- Compilation of legal claims
- Compilation of reports
- Contract amendments and bulletins
- Contracts understanding
- Drafting of compliance notices and agreements
- Leasing arrangements
- Measurement skills
- Risk analysis and management
- Ensure a clear understanding of the customer requirements and provide astute alternatives as an expert advisor
- Provide a best practice service and built sustainable relationships with key parties
- Manage nominated, domestic and labour only sub-contract agreements and negotiate the best sub-contractors for the work
