Quantity Surveyor

Founded in 1979, Capital Civil and Building Construction is a South African based business involved in the construction of residential housing, industrial, commercial and civil projects.

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Dynamic team.

• Estimating and measurement of tender documents.
• Preparing accurate bills of quantities (BOQ) & cost estimates.
• Processing and negotiating payments & final accounts.
• Reviewing and approving subcontractor quotations & payments.
• Measuring & valuing variations.
• Ensuring adherence to project budgets & providing timely cost reporting.
• Procuring subcontractors & materials as needed.
• Conducting regular site visits & attending progress meetings.
• Maintaining positive relationships with consultants, subcontractors, and clients.

• Minimum National diploma in building science B-Tech Qs and above preferred.
• Minimum experience of 5 years.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and QS software (CSS, Buildsmart)
• Good knowledge of industry standards, construction methods and materials.
• Good working knowledge of JBCC contracts.
• Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
