Introduction

Looking for a construction industry professional who manages all costs relating to building projects, from initial calculations to final figures. They ensure projects remain within budget and provide value for money through cost estimating, tender management, and contract administration

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Contract & Risk Management: Drafting tender documents, negotiating contracts, and managing risk.
  • Project Evaluation: Valuing ongoing work and certifying payments for contractors. 
  • Cost Management: Preparing budgets, cost plans, and financial reports from feasibility to completion.
  • Measurement & Estimation: Calculating material and labor quantities (Bills of Quantities)

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Education: A degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying or construction management is typically required.
  • Skills: Strong numerical, analytical, and communication skills, proficiency with technology, and problem-solving abilities.
