Introduction

The role involves working on solutions for clients where the company's products can be utilised.
You will do presentations to clients, assist other onsite engineers in design, applications and queries. Having a sound understanding of the construction industry, the position is focused on the expansion of the company through its support to existing clients and the continuous development of new markets.
The role therefore is project engineering, sales engineering, consulting and hand holding of the client. You will travel in SA, and later in Africa, as the company is expanding.
The company is big on training and you will be trained on the products, but also send on other training courses.

Duties & Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Market and project research in regions of business and responsibility.
  • Formal informative and educative presentations to introduce systems to specifiers.
  • Technical specification meetings with specifiers and potential clients.
  • Team support and development
  • Develop systems and processes to support future business growth.
  • Assist and support team members to obtain future business growth.
  • Ambassador for the company
  • Professional support for problem solving, product specification and conflict situations
  • Professional conduct and clear communication with team and clients at all times.
  • Visual representation and exhibitions, golf days and other promotional days.


DUTIES & TASKS:

  • Formal reporting which includes works-and-repair proposals to team, clients and contractors.
  • Review and implement changes to process, written reports and operation documents and systems.
  • Detailing, review of drawings and specification works to clients, specifiers and contractors.
  • Formal, technical and specification meetings with team, potential clients and specifiers
  • Weekly vehicle and task reports to management team.
  • Technical writing of articles, repair methods and case studies.
  • Revision, change and improvement on existing quality systems, processes and documents.
  • Project research and cold calling.
  • Basic planning, travel and time management.

 

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Comprehensive understanding of construction materials, techniques and technologies.
  • Comprehensive understanding of client relations.
  • Nat Dipl / Degree in QS
  • Exp in Civil Engineering and / or Construction industry
  • Passion for concrete in the construction environment
  • English speaking

 

Package & Remuneration

Nett salary R35 to 55 K per month, experience dependable.
