Main purpose of the position:
Responsible for managing cost estimation, budgeting, procurement, and financial control, while ensuring project efficiency through accurate reporting, subcontractor management, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to achieve successful project delivery.
Key Performance Areas:
- Prepare accurate bills of quantities and cost estimates to support project planning and budgeting.
- Process and negotiate payments and finalize accounts to ensure timely financial settlements.
- Review and approve subcontractor quotations and payments in alignment with project requirements and budgets.
- Measure and value variations to ensure proper documentation and cost control.
- Monitor adherence to project budgets and provide accurate cost reporting for effective financial management.
- Procure subcontractors and materials efficiently to meet project timelines and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site visits and participate in progress meetings to track project milestones and address issues promptly.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to foster collaboration and successful project outcomes.
