Overview
Our Client is seeking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor with strong civil construction experience to manage the commercial and cost aspects of infrastructure projects.
This role is ideally suited to a commercially astute professional with strong analytical ability and experience in cost control, contract management, and financial reporting.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring project profitability and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
• Manage project costing, budgeting, and forecasting
• Prepare and evaluate tenders and contracts
• Conduct cost analysis and financial reporting
• Monitor project financial performance and variations
• Prepare valuations and manage payment processes
• Liaise with project teams, clients, and subcontractors
• Ensure compliance with contractual and commercial requirements
Minimum Requirements
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
• National Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in civil construction
• Strong knowledge of contracts (FIDIC / GCC advantageous)
• Experience with cost management systems (e.g., CCS)
• Strong commercial and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience on large-scale infrastructure projects
• Professional registration advantageous
