Our client, a growing and highly respected commercial consultancy, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional cost management solutions while working towards Professional Registration (PrQS).

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare cost estimates, feasibility studies, and detailed cost plans.
  • Compile Bills of Quantities and tender documentation.
  • Manage procurement and tender evaluation processes.
  • Perform contract administration in accordance with standard forms of contract.
  • Monitor project costs, valuations, and cash flow throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assess variations and prepare financial reports.
  • Conduct final account negotiations and project close-out.
  • Attend client meetings and provide commercial advice throughout project delivery.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practice.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • BSc (Quantity Surveying) or equivalent qualification.
  • 2–4 years' experience within a quantity surveying consulting environment.
  • Exposure to commercial, industrial, mixed-use, or infrastructure projects.
  • Working knowledge of JBCC, NEC, and GCC contracts.
  • Strong cost planning and contract administration experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant QS software.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.

Package & Remuneration

R420 000 CTC to R500 000 CTC per annum based on experience and qualifications
