Introduction

We offer this exciting position to a Qualified QS with Minimum of 5 years experience. 

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Sound working knowledge and experience with JBCC 6.2 Principal Building Agreement is essential. Exposure to NEC 3 & 4 contracts is beneficial
  • Review and evaluate design documentation
  • Prepare preliminary & detailed estimates
  • Formulate bills of quantities & contract documentation
  • Financial evaluation of tenders
  • Administer cashflow forecasts, cost reports, variation orders, valuations, contractual claims, etc.
  • Prepare & negotiate final accounts
  • Attend meetings
  • Formulate, review and analyse repair estimates
  • Prepare viability studies, damage costings & determine value at risk
  • Liaise and cooperate with multi-disciplinary teams (Project Managers, Architects, Engineers & Quantity Surveyors)
