Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Estimating & Tendering - Prepare EOCs and BOQs and manage all tender documentation and cost evaluations.
- Contract & Procurement Management - Oversee procurement packages, contract execution, and supplier orders to ensure timely material availability.
- Financial Oversight - Track project costs from estimate through delivery and maintain accurate budgets with PMs and finance.
- Certificate of Payment (COP) Management - Lead interim and final Certificates of Payment, including site verification, claim reconciliation, and closeout.
- Change Management - Assess and process client and contractor variations, maintaining logs and reporting commercial impacts.
- Team & Stakeholder Coordination - Coordinate with project managers, architects, and finance teams, ensuring timely communication of cost-related decisions.
Desired Skills and Attributes:
- Strong understanding of project financial workflows from pre-contract to post-completion.
- Able to interpret drawings, BOQs, contracts, and change notices.
- Clear communicator and confident working across multiple disciplines and contractors.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks, and deliver on deadlines.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to problem-solve in high-paced environments.
Qualifications and Work Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s in Quantity Surveying, Construction
Management, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of cost estimating software and Microsoft Office
Suite.
- Familiarity with contract administration standards and
procurement workflows.
- Excellent command of English, both verbal and written.
Contract, Location, Salary and Benefits:
- A full-time in-person position, based in Malta.
- Salary bracket between €26,000 and €29,000 gross per year, depending on experience.
- Participation in company’s incentive scheme and benefits.
