Quantity Surveyor

Our client, in the construction industry, currently has a vacancy for a QS to join two prestigious projects in Somerset West / Stellenbosch Area. The candidate should have relevant experience and be able to manage the projects relatively independent.

• Oversee all quantity surveying activities on-site for both projects.
• Manage cost control, budget planning, and financial reporting.
• Conduct progress valuations and ensure accurate measurement of work done.
• Administer contracts and resolve any contractual issues that arise.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.

• Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying
• 2-3 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
• Familiar with Construction Regulations and Laws
• Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects.
• Experience with commercial and industrial building projects
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Attention to detail and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong computer skills
