Introduction

To manage project cost control, contract measurement, valuations and commercial administration across Eskom-related EPC/PC substation, transformer and transmission line projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

Prepare and manage cost reports, valuations, forecasts and payment assessments; administer variations, compensation events and claims support documentation; measure works and verify contractor applications for payment; support project controls, budgeting and commercial reporting; coordinate closely with project management and contracts teams to maintain commercial compliance and cost visibility.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent; 5 to 10 years’ experience in infrastructure, substation, transformer or transmission projects; professional registration in South Africa as a PrQS with the South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession (SACQSP) preferred, and where required must be professionally registered; strong knowledge of cost control, payment certification, variations and contractual administration under EPC/PC environments.
