Quantity Surveyor

Our client,  in the construction industry, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support operations and field teams in project planning, cost estimation, procurement, and material coordination. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in construction and project management who are looking to make an impact in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Estimation: Review project plans, analyze construction drawings, and perform accurate material take-offs (MTOs).
Procurement & Coordination: Obtain quotes, place orders, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Project & Construction Management: Track inventory, coordinate daily site activities, and assist in scheduling.
Safety & Compliance: Assist with job site safety adherence and required inspections.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain project records, update cost databases, and report project progress.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, designers, estimators, and project managers to streamline operations.

Requirements:

Education: HND or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
Experience:

• Proven background in quantity surveying, construction, and project management.
• Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and execution strategies.
  Technical Skills:
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, or equivalent construction tools.
  Soft Skills: Analytical thinking, communication, organization, and problem-solving.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 12 PM - 8 PM WAT
