Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team.

Duties & Responsibilities

Cost Estimation & Budgeting

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for new developments.

  • Develop and manage bills of quantities, tender documents, and cost plans.

  • Establish and monitor project budgets.

 

Measurement & Valuation

  • Perform site measurements and verify quantities against project drawings.

  • Prepare interim valuations and final accounts.

  • Support monthly cost reporting and cash flow forecasts.

 

Procurement & Tendering

  • Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.

  • Prepare and manage purchase orders and subcontractor agreements.

  • Evaluate and compare supplier quotations.

 

Contract Administration

  • Draft and administer construction contracts.

  • Monitor compliance with contractual obligations and scope.

  • Maintain records of all contractual correspondence and variations.

 

Cost Control & Financial Reporting

  • Track and report on project costs and variations.

  • Identify opportunities for cost-saving and efficiency.

  • Support audit processes and maintain financial records.

 

Site Coordination & Communication

  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and cost implications.

  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and site teams.

  • Attend site and progress meetings as required.

Requirements

 

Essential requirements:

  • BSc in Quantity Surveying
  • Professionally registered
  • This opportunity is suited to a seasoned Quantity Surveyor who is confident, professionally presented, and able to work independently while delivering a high standard of service.

  • 8 to 10+ years’ Quantity Surveying experience withi QS Office not fronm cotractors environment
  • Experience gained in a professional QS office
  • Strong understanding of professional Quantity Surveying practices and procedures
  • Stable and proven career history within the Quantity Surveying field
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.

  • Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport.
