About the Role:

Based in Ahuriri, Napier, in conjunction with the Project Manager, you will have financial ownership and provide effective and efficient cost management and contract administration services including:

  • Monthly client financial reporting
  • Cost estimation and budgeting
  • Tendering and trade procurement
  • Cost control and monitoring
  • Valuation and payment certification
  • Risk management and dispute resolution
  • Contract administration


About You:

As a driven self-starter with high attention to detail and an inquisitive personality you will add value and continuously strive for excellence!  In addition to this, you will have the following attributes:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a QS role in New Zealand, ideally in the commercial construction environment.
  • A tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, or relevant industry experience.
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork skills with a great work ethic.
  • Exhibit ample initiative and innovation in the way you work.
  • Strong communication and numeracy skills.
  • Confident with the full MS Suite & navigating MS Project software.
  • Experience using Procore & Jobpac would be an advantage.
