An established construction cost consultancy is looking for a Junior or Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join its Christchurch team.
This opportunity would suit someone early in their QS career who brings enthusiasm, asks questions and is keen to get involved. You'll work alongside experienced colleagues on building projects throughout the region, with support to develop your technical skills and take on more responsibility as your confidence grows.

The opportunity
You'll support the team with estimating, measuring, cost planning and construction cost management. As you develop, you'll gain exposure to different stages of a project and build your understanding of how a consultancy works with clients and project teams.
There's plenty to learn, and you'll have people around you who are ready to share their knowledge and help you progress.

What you'll bring

• A relevant quantity surveying qualification and junior or intermediate QS experience
• A proactive approach and willingness to learn from feedback
• Good attention to detail and confidence working with numbers
• Clear communication and a team-focused attitude
• The initiative to ask questions, take ownership and follow things through

You don't need to know everything already. What matters is a solid foundation, a positive attitude and the motivation to build on it.
