We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Site Quantity Surveyor. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers to support various construction projects. The primary responsibility of this role is to assist in the management and control of costs associated with construction projects, using industry-standard software such as CCS/Candy's quantity surveying software.
Responsibilities:
Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
Collaborating with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to gather necessary project information.
Reviewing and analyzing project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to identify quantities and costs.
Utilizing CCS/Candy's quantity surveying software to perform quantity take-offs and generate accurate bills of quantities.
Monitoring and tracking project costs, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
Assisting in the evaluation of subcontractor quotes and preparing subcontractor packages.
Participating in site visits and inspections to assess progress, verify quantities, and identify any cost variations.
Assisting in the preparation of interim valuations, payment certificates, and final accounts.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all quantity surveying activities.
Collaborating with the project team to identify potential cost-saving measures or value engineering opportunities.
Keeping abreast of industry trends, changes in construction practices, and advancements in quantity surveying software.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Previous experience working as a junior quantity surveyor or related role within the construction industry is preferred but not mandatory.
Proficiency in using CCS or Candy's quantity surveying software is essential.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
Knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, and procurement processes is advantageous.
Willingness to travel to construction sites and work in a dynamic environment.

Package negotiable depending experience and qualifications (Laptop and Travel Allowance)
