Duties & Responsibilities

* Prepare cost estimates and bills of quantities (BOQ) for scaffolding and insulation works.
* Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimize scaffolding expenses.
* Manage contracts, variations, and claims related to scaffolding and insulation services.
* Prepare valuations and applications for payment and maintain cost reports.
* Manage and update the project works tracking database in support of payment applications.
* Monitor the usage, and reconciliation of scaffolding materials.
* Ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements, including health and safety standards.
* Performing the procurement activities on site ensuring that purchase requisitions are submitted and authorised, in accordance with the Procurement procedure, to HO.

Planning Responsibilities:

* Develop detailed scaffolding schedules using planning software (MS Project) at the hand of client schedules
* Attend weekly progress and planning meetings and provide relevant input, based on site capacity.
* Coordinate with site teams to ensure scaffold erection, modification, and dismantling align with project timelines.
* Monitor progress, track critical paths, and analyse potential delays.
* Implement risk assessment strategies and propose mitigation measures.
* Prepare progress reports, cash flow forecasts, and resource allocation plans.
* Assist in claims and dispute resolution by providing time and cost impact assessments.

Desired Experience & Qualification

* Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Professional certification (e.g., MRICS, AIQS, PMP) is an advantage.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying and project planning, preferably in scaffolding or access solutions.
* Proficiency in cost estimation software and planning tools (e.g., SAP).
* Strong understanding of scaffolding design and safety standards.
* Proven experience in construction contracts, particularly NEC3.
* Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
