Introduction

Our fast-growing company has high-demand for our services and we looking for an experienced and highly effective Project QS in the Western Cape Southern Suburbs Region, to join our team and help us with managing our Projects to achieve successful handover for our clients that is on time, within budget and to correct quality standards.


Duties & Responsibilities


  • Coordinate and manage site activities according to project contractual terms.



  • Ensure site is managed according to OHS regulations.



  • Manage material requisitions, subcontractor appointments, claims and payments. 



  • Ensure all work is completed according to building quality standards and regulations.



  • Manage Projects costs to achieve the financial success of the project.



  • Manage site labour, subcontractors to achieve project programmes



  • Monitor and control project programmes.



  • Manage claims, certifications and payment with clients for all work completed.


Desired Experience & Qualification


  • BSc Quantity Surveying / B Tech Quantity Surveying or equivalent



  • Valid Driver’s Licence (Code B)



  • Minimum 7+ yrs. experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a building construction company



  • Strong Site Production Management Skills



  • Advanced Computer Skills (particularly MS Excel, MS Project



  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.



  • Ability to evaluate building plans, technical schedules and tender documents.



  • Attend and coordinate site meetings with project stakeholder



  • Manage communication will all project stakeholders



  • Plan site activities to prevent risks, and effectively resolve issues
