Introduction

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established company in Cape Town.

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with strong commercial awareness, excellent cost-management skills and experience working across construction projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), estimates and budgets.
  • Manage tender documentation and evaluations.
  • Monitor project costs, variations and financial performance.
  • Handle contract administration (JBCC, NEC, FIDIC or GCC).
  • Prepare valuations, cost reports and final accounts.
  • Liaise with contractors, consultants and project teams.
  • Identify and manage commercial risks.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Requirements

  • BSc/BTech in Quantity Surveying.
  • Minimum 3–5 years' relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in WinQS, CCS or similar software.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts.
  • Experience in both site and office environments.
  • Consulting experience advantageous.
  • Must be based in Cape Town.
