Introduction

A well-established company in the electrical and construction sector is looking for a qualified Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting project cost management, contractual processes, measurements, claims, quotations and tenders.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct measurements of projects
  • Prepare and manage payment certificate claims
  • Handle contractual notifications and implementations
  • Prepare and manage quotations
  • Assist with tenders and tender documentation
  • Monitor project costs and contractual requirements
  • Support effective commercial and project cost management

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Requirements

  • Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar Quantity Surveying role
  • Experience within the electrical or construction industry
  • JBCC training
  • Sound understanding of JBCC contracts
  • Strong knowledge of project measurements, claims and contractual processes
