About the Role | Mō te Tūranga

As the Senior Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for leading a strategy that aims to drive an increase in the number of high performing and relevant targeted offers in the Supermarket buying division (+20m in 3 years). You will play a key role in aligning both the targeted promotions objectives and execution with the wider Supermarket objectives. You’ll be working closely with not only our suppliers, but also our Buying and Loyalty teams, to develop, execute and deliver a plan to get us where we need to be. 




Key Responsibilities:



  • Build strong, strategic relationships with internal teams across Supermarket Commercial, Everyday Rewards Leadership and Suppliers

  • Effectively manage and prioritise senior stakeholder objectives

  • Leverage your commercial experience and analytical skills to translate key data insights with stakeholders to support your objectives

  • Drive the future vision of the offer program

  • Coach and mentor peers and team members to embed best practice and lead a motivated team who are aligned to our strategy and direction. 




About You | Mōu

With 8+ years experience in a Commercial, Buying of Loyalty role, you’ll be a data-driven, customer obsessed and outcome focused professional looking to deliver real value for everyday kiwis. You understand how to build product value through experimentation and iteration and have previously constructed product strategies that secured buy in and support across the business.  As well as excellent domain knowledge, we are looking for someone to act as a Chapter Lead - a confident coach who can inspire others and ensure we are rowing the waka in the same direction.
