As a Senior Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Cost Manager at Linesight, you will work with highly experienced, culturally diverse, and passionate teams nurturing a strong social dynamic and a shared sense of achievement. The Opportunity






In this role you will:

  • Actively partner with clients, responding to their requests accurately and on time
  • Assist in creating cost analysis feedback and lessons learned to the client for future works   
  • Assist in the bid evaluation process including analysing data and identifying areas requiring additional investigation
  • Be part of a larger team of cost managers delivering a robust cost management service to the client
  • Expertly negotiate with contractors to agree materials quantities based upon detailed electrical & instrumentation designs
  • Partner in preparing and agreeing final accounts, including  handling any E&I claims to ensure the best value for the client
  • Prepare budget E&I cost estimates
  • Resolve any commercial, change orders and contract issues quickly and fairly
  • Support Team Leader with cost control, cost reporting and forecasting of electrical scope of work.

 

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Are you an experienced E&I Cost Manager on large scale complex construction projects with increasing levels of leadership
  • Understand M&E systems, have a strong ability to read services drawings and schematics, particularly electrical & instrumentation
  • Have a Degree or comparable trade experience in electrical engineering
  • Are an excellent communicator verbally and in writing
  • Excel in a collaborative and friendly team environment
  • Love a dynamic environment with the opportunity to manage your own priorities and deadlines
  • Enjoy building strong relationships with your team and clients through a shared purpose and sense of openness and fun.
