Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor Opportunity – Central London

Mivan is a dynamic and progressive specialist joinery and interior fit-out contractor with a reputation for excellence and innovation. We are currently looking for an experienced and driven Senior Quantity Surveyor to take the lead on the commercial delivery of a landmark fit-out project.

Candidates should have 5+ years experience in a senior QS role within a contracting environment, preferably fit-out and a third level qualification in a Quantity Surveying or Construction related subject.  The ideal candidate will be commercially astute with strong leadership and people management skills and the ability to negotiate and influence.

Main duties will include:

• Manage all commercial aspects of the Project.
• Manage and support the project’s commercial team.
• Ensure appropriate contractual and commercial protection is in place for the project.
• Preparation & management of the project budget.
• Procurement of subcontractors and agreement of subcontract conditions.
• Commercial control of subcontract packages.
• Value and agree the cost of any variations.
• ​
• Prepare cost, value and reconciliation monthly reports on each assigned project.
• Maintain working relationships with the client and project team.
• Provide contractual advice to the Project Director/Contracts Director.
