Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are working on behalf of a leading consultancy to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Cost Management team in Manchester. The Role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will:

• Lead all aspects of cost management from inception to completion.
• Manage large-scale and/or multiple projects for key clients.
• Help develop and strengthen the cost management team.
• Support senior leaders with business planning and securing new opportunities.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Produce feasibility studies, cost estimates, and cost plans at all design stages.
• Prepare and issue tender documents and oversee the tender process.
• Manage post-contract cost control and negotiate final account settlements.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and consultants.

What We’re Looking For

To excel in this role, you’ll need:

• A relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or an RICS-accredited course.
• MRICS accreditation.
• Experience in technically complex projects.
• Strong client relationship skills and commercial awareness.
• Excellent negotiation and organisational skills.
