🎯 About the opportunity

Our client is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of cost estimates, project audits, and contract administration across construction projects. This is a senior role for someone with strong commercial acumen and a solid background in the construction or engineering environment.

🛠️ What you'll be doing

  • Preparing cost estimates and project plans
  • Measurement and certification across active projects
  • Budget management and cost control
  • Contract management and administration
  • Managing construction revenue and costs
  • Supporting and managing staff within the QS function

🔍 What we're looking for

  • BSc (QS), NDip (QS), or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 5 years' related experience in the construction or engineering environment
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, quantity surveying, and construction methods
  • Solid understanding of financial reporting, cash management, and SHEQ legislation
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and estimation skills
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict management skills
  • Able to work well within a team and manage competing priorities
