Desired Experience & Qualification

Education

  • MINIMUM relevant tertiary Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Professional registration / affiliation advantageous.

Experience

  • MINIMUM 7+ years’ relevant technical Quantity Surveying experience.
  • MINIMUM 2+ years’ managerial or team leadership experience.
  • Construction industry experience.
  • Experience in commercial management, cost control, forecasting, contract administration, claims and final accounts.
  • Experience managing subcontractor agreements and commercial negotiations.

Legal Requirements

  • Sound knowledge of construction-related legislation and contractual requirements.
  • Understanding of commercial and common law principles applicable to construction contracts.

Computer Software

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Candy / CCS or similar construction commercial software
  • BuildSmart or similar systems
  • SharePoint and OneDrive

Package & Remuneration

Negotiable based on experience
