My client is a dynamic property development and construction company, established in January 2003, with a strong track record in delivering residential and commercial projects.
The company specialises in turnkey construction solutions, offering value-added services across the full project lifecycle — from conceptualisation through to final delivery.
We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Site Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring effective cost control, contract administration, and financial management on-site to support the successful delivery of projects within budget and timelines.

Duties & Responsibilities


 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Cost Management & Control
  • Monitor and control project costs to ensure alignment with approved budgets
  • Prepare and manage cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and cost-to-complete projections
  • Track variations, claims, and site instructions
Contract Administration
  • Assist in the administration of contracts in accordance with JBCC / relevant building contracts
  • Prepare interim payment certificates and final accounts
  • Evaluate subcontractor claims and ensure accurate certification
Procurement Support
  • Assist with sourcing and procurement of subcontractors and suppliers
  • Prepare and evaluate tender documentation and pricing comparisons
  • Negotiate rates and ensure cost-effective procurement
Site Coordination
  • Work closely with site managers, project managers, and subcontractors
  • Attend site meetings and provide input on financial and contractual matters
  • Ensure alignment between site progress and financial reporting
Measurement & Valuations
  • Conduct site measurements and re-measurements as required
  • Prepare bills of quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates
  • Evaluate variations and ensure accurate cost allocation
 
Compliance & Reporting
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and contractual obligations
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial and contractual documentation
  • Provide regular financial reports to management
REQUIREMENTS
  • Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field
  • 3 - 6 years' experience in a Site QS role within construction or property development
  • Strong knowledge of JBCC contracts and construction processes
  • Proven experience in cost control, subcontractor management, and site-based QS functions
  • Proficient in MS Excel and relevant QS / estimating software
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities on-site
