Responsibilities
- Promote and demonstrate good safety behaviors

- Champion and promote the application of the Financial Management Framework guidelines
- Champion and follow the relevant DOA and commercial / contracting policies
Assists and supports under supervision:
- Support the tender governance process for the sub-Business Group including head contract reviews.
- Cost estimating, Cost forecasts ,Post-contract administration, preparation and review of change management, review of variation order request and claims from contractors/suppliers
- the development of rates, estimates, pricing, and commercial models
- the administration of risk management processes pre and post contract
- the timely and accurate submission of contracting policy approval requests, in conjunction with the Contracts function
- main contract administration, including correspondence management, management of change and the development/implementation of commercial strategies and profit improvement plans in accordance with client contracts and Woods policies and procedures.
- the administrative maintenance of delegations of authority (DOA) and processing of DOA approvals
- the administrative development and maintenance of Commercial Handovers and Plans
- the preparation of project cashflow forecasts, expenditure, invoice preparation, and expediting of payments
- the preparation and analysis of inputs to key contract and internal project reporting requirements
- the preparation of main contract close-out requirements
- Ensure compliance with relevant Wood commercial/contracting policies
- Promote the FMF (Financial Management Framework) Principles
- Support cash collection to reduce DSO
- information/data gathering and analysis required to support Woods assertive claims and/or defending claims against Wood
- Assist in the procurement process, including issuing tender invitations and evaluating tender returns.
- Help in negotiating with contractors and suppliers in order to achieve the best value and commercial position for Wood.
QualificationsQualifications:
- Five GCSEs Grades A* to C or 9 to 4 under the new grading system including Maths and English or equivalent.
Knowledge,
- Basic understanding of QS role
- Understanding of basic commercial principles
