An opportunity is available for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join a client-based construction team in Cape Town. The role involves project cost control, measurement, valuations and contractual administration across construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Bills of Quantities, estimates, tender documentation and cost reports.
- Measure and value construction work completed on site.
- Process interim payment applications, variations and subcontractor claims.
- Assist with procurement, cost forecasting and budget monitoring.
- Maintain project cost records and assist with final account preparation.
- Liaise with contractors, consultants and project teams on commercial matters.
Requirements:
- Relevant BSc/BTech or National Diploma in Quantity Surveying.
- 4+Years Experience
- Intermediate-level experience in construction quantity surveying.
- Working knowledge of measurement, valuations, variations and cost control.
- Exposure to JBCC, NEC or GCC contract administration.
- Proficiency in QS software and construction cost management tools.
