Introduction

Our client is looking for an experienced and commercially minded professional to take ownership of their Procurement, Stores, and Logistics function. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in cost control, materials management, and operational coordination within a technical or construction-related environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement processes, including sourcing, pricing, and supplier negotiations
  • Oversee stores and inventory control, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Coordinate logistics, deliveries, and stock movement
  • Monitor material usage and cost control
  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships
  • Ensure systems and processes are in place for optimal operational performance

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Relevant tertiary qualification - Degree in Quantity Surveying
  • Proven experience in procurement, stores, or logistics management.
  • Strong understanding of cost control and materials management
  • Experience in a technical, construction, or engineering environment
  • Quantity Surveying background (advantageous)
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

Package & Remuneration

R600 000 CTC - R780 000 CTC (Negotiable depending on experience)
