About the Role

Due to our continued growth/success, we are looking for suitably qualified and experienced Quantity Surveyor / Contracts Administrator who will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Management and control of project budgets in conjunction with the project team in order to maximise project profit margins.
  • Procuring suitable subcontractors and submit recommendations for the award of subcontracts.
  • Identify, and prepare Head Contract variations.
  • Identify, and prepare Head Contract contractual claims.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly progress claims in accordance with the Head Contract.
  • Maintain variation and claim registers.

About You

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following; 

  • Hold tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience working with a project team and ability to take direction from Project and Commercial Managers
  • Recent experience within a civil and engineering construction environment
  • Demonstrate your experience in managing all aspects of construction contracts including but not limited to the timely submission of notifications, preparation and submission of monthly progress claims, of contractual claims, and general administration of the contract
  • Management of project correspondence
